Welcome to Andros Island Bonefish Club
Set along the legendary North Bight, Andros Island Bonefish Club places anglers in the heart of what many consider the bonefish capital of the world. Vast, largely untouched flats stretch in every direction, creating a rare blend of accessibility, solitude, and consistent opportunities. Founded in 1988 by renowned Bahamian guide Rupert Leadon, one of the creators of the iconic Gotcha fly, the lodge carries a deep rooted history and has long been at the center of flats fishing culture in the region. Over the years, it has hosted some of fly fishing's most influential anglers, including Billy Pate and Lefty Kreh.
For anglers looking for a true Bahamian experience with serious fishing upside, Andros Island Bonefish Club remains one of the most reliable choices in the Caribbean.

Fishing Description
This is not a destination defined by a single flat or system, it’s an interconnected maze of white sand flats, mangrove shorelines, inland creeks, and tidal bays that stretch for miles in every direction. The result is a fishery that feels both expansive and uncrowded, where anglers can spend full days exploring new water without ever seeing another skiff. The lodge’s location provides easy access to large schools of bonefish in the Northern Bight, with the option of an extended run to Andros’s legendary West Side. Known locally as “The Land of the Giants,” the West Side is famous for double digit bonefish and large resident tarpon.
The lodge maintains a high standard for its guide staff; all guides are seasoned professionals who have spent years guiding before ever stepping into the Andros Island Bonefish Club program. This ensures a level of consistency, professionalism, and on the water awareness that shows in every aspect of the day.
Accommodations
The lodge delivers a classic Bahamian fishing experience that is comfortable, welcoming, and centered around time on the water. Enjoy a personally tailored breakfast and fresh coffee each morning, followed by a build-your-own sandwich bar, featuring the lodge's world famous tuna salad, before heading out on the water.
